Let’s dive into the essential details that ensure your RV adventures are safe, legal, and worry-free.

Introduction

There are three main categories of Recreational Vehicles (RVs): Motorized RVs, Towable RVs, and Conversion Vehicles. Each category has its own unique characteristics and subcategories, often referred to as types or classes.

Motorized RVs

Motorized RVs combine living quarters with the driver’s area in one convenient unit, allowing easy access between the two.

  • Luxurious amenities

  • Sleeps up to 6 people

  • Price range: $100,000 to $1,000,000 new

Towable RVs

Towable RVs are designed to be towed by a family car, van, or pickup truck. They can be unhitched and left at the campsite while you explore with your vehicle.

Truck Camper
